Uniterrupted Power Supply

Our uniterrupted power supply systems (UPS) provide a highly reliable and energy efficient source of battery based electrical AC power to run critical systems when normal mains electrical supplies fail.

Typical applications include:

• Computer servers and IT systems
• Server air-conditioning and cooling
• Hospitals and medical facilities
• Tills and cash-handling
• Smoke extract systems
• CCTV and secure environments
• Road tunnel exhaust extraction
• Subterranean water pumping
• All critical equipment that must continue to operate when the normal mains electrical supplies fail

Autonomy can be specified from just a few minutes for the safe shutdown of a computer system to several hours for operating theatres and critical medical equipment.

UPS systems, which can be single or three phase input, can be specifed with either 230v or 400v AC output.  Each will consist of a cubicle housing the inverter that converts the DC output of the battery to AC and a battery which will be sized to support the connected load and the required autonomy of the system. The battery may be housed within one or more cubicles or rack mounted. Our technical team will be pleased to provide you with information on the size and weight of the proposed battery options throughout your design proccess.

Numerous monitoring and alarm features are included within each UPS as standard and the units are easily interfaced with BMS systems. BLE can create a wide variety of bespoke options and solutions for simple or complext UPS power systems tailored to meet your exact requirements up to 600KVA.
