Product Description
The BMTM manual test switch provides a simple low cost method of controlling the permanent mains supply connected to a group of Luminaires. The switch is available as either key operated or push button operation. Both versions can be set to a choice of preset time delay intervals, during which time the mains supply is interrupted to Luminaires connected to the switch.

During the timed mains supply interruption the connected Luminaires will operate in Emergency Lighting mode, allowing the Luminaires to be visually checked. Once the time switch reaches the preset time delay period the mains supply is re-instated to the Luminaires bringing them back into a mains healthy condition.

Key Features & Benefits
• Cost effective method of testing Luminaires
• Option of Key or Push Button activation
• Push Button version mounts onto a DIN rail
• Suitable for use with M, NM, or Slave Luminaires
• Expandable using Relay Box (BMTM/REL)
• Failsafe method of operation
• Flush or Surface mount options
• Visual indication of timer settings
• Rated 6 amps, 1.4kw of lighting load
• Choice of time settings 10 mins, 1 or 3 hours
SG Automatic Test Module

Product Description
The module has been developed to monitor the battery voltage and light output of Emergency Luminaires. The tests are programmed to automatically test the Luminaire at intervals for preset test durations, in accordance with the latest European Standards.

The Module when fitted to the Luminaire automatically tests the Luminaire once a month by placing the battery on load for 10 minutes prior to monitoring the voltage level and tube light output levels. If either the lamp Lumen output level or the battery voltage fails to meet the programmed threshold levels then a combined Audible/Visual indication is given from the Luminaire indicating the reason for the reported failure to local staff or service personnel.

In the event of a mains failure incident taking place during a test period, the Luminaire will operate as a normal Emergency Luminaire. That specific test will be aborted until the next pre-programmed test set for the following month.

Key Features & Benefits
• Automatic testing of Luminaires complies with European Standards
• Tests are carried out automatically with no manpower resource requirement
• Actual light output from the tube is monitored providing real Emergency Lumen test data
• Battery output measured throughout test period to ensure full duration check
• Module aborts testing on Luminaries that have failed to reach acceptable test levels
• Audible and visual status reported to local staff or service personnel on failed Luminaires
• Manual test button facility allows manual testing of individual Luminaires
• Module suitable for both Maintained and Non-Maintained Luminaires
• Module fits into a wide range of BLE Luminaires
TT Reporting Test System

BLE's TT Reporting Test System is extremely simple to operate. The Control Unit is operated by a key switch to initiate the testing of luminaires on the system for test periods of 5 minutes, 1 hour or 3 hours. On completion of the test period, the unit reinstates the luminaires to their normal state and reports at the control unit any luminaires that have failed to meet the full duration period.

The Control Unit can monitor/test up to 100 luminaires and continually monitors the control wiring and each individual luminaires charge healthy status.

Automatic Monitoring
Any failure in the integrity of the wiring, mains supply to luminaires or a charge circuit failure in any luminaire registers immediately at the Control Unit. In any reported fail condition all
luminaires connected to the Control Unit should be visually inspected to identify the failed luminaire(s) that require attention.

Test Mode
When the Control Unit is operated by the key switch all luminaires connected to the unit are put into a simulated mains failure condition for the selected test period. Any luminaire
failing to operate for the duration of the test period (whilst on battery backup) is indicated at the control unit as a 'Luminaire Fail'. In any reported fail condition, all luminaires connected to the Control Unit should be visually inspected to identify the failed luminaire(s) that require attention.

Product Description
BLE's Autoglow System provides customers and service agents with a sophisticated solution for controlling, monitoring and reporting on the operating status of emergency lighting schemes in a large building complex such as a hospital, university or multi-storey office block.

The Autoglow control panel has been developed over many years to provide a simple method of configuring the required test regime of groups of luminaires throughout a site with the option of having a hard copy printout of the test data. The data output can be sent to a choice of an optional rechargeable hand held printer or downloaded direct onto a laptop computer.

The data provides documented evidence of the operating status of each emergency luminaire, identifying any luminaire that although passing the preset criteria, is approaching a potential failure status in the near future.

The test data on failed luminaires provides useful information such as battery failure, charge failure, tube failure and integrity of data cables. The information can also be used as a proactive management tool be identifying luminaires that are approaching a failure status. Status information can be viewed on the clear 40 character back-lit LCD display. The Autoglow System allows maintenance personnel to plan more cost effectively the servicing of the lighting system.

Key Features & Benefits
• Modern control panel controlling up to 800 luminaires
• The system can be programmed to test selected areas
• For larger sites panels can be networked together

• Choice of printer output options
• Testing meets British and European standards
• Test protocol can be tailored to individual site conditions
• 10 year memory back up on system test data
• Test duration aborted on failed luminaires
• Option of testing a single luminaire or part system
• Autoglow module fits most luminaires and twinspots
• Retains test data for last 36 month periods tests
• Test data can be downloaded to laptop computer
